I hope he's similar to Daishon Knight, it's the type of guard off the bench we desperately need. To come in score and he a combo type guard.

Decent touch around the rim. Most of his boards from the "rebound" section of this video were off of his point blank misses (would have fit in perfect against Loyola in STL). He doesn't have great athleticism but its hard to be that big and jump high. War against gravity. I would welcome him. Getting a guy like that would only make the rest of our bigs (Fayne, David, Bruninga, Romine, Rey) better. It'd be a physical war in practice. We haven't offered yet, but we need to figure out our scholarship situation first.

I do not think we've been in contact at all but Amel Kuljuhovic- 2018, 6'11- 250 also received his release Cal State Northridge. The reason I mention him is because he went to Lakeland with Josh Jefferson and committed to CSUN with JJ. Big body. Looks okay overall in the highlight tape. Averaged a near double-double his sophomore season. Maybe we reach out if nothing comes of this McCray kid.

Re:McCray we haven't offered because we don't have the scholarships but based off people he follows on Twitter who have offered to him he follows 2 people from Pacific, Frank Haith from Tulsa, and A player from VA Tech. I didn't see any others.

I'm not seeing much in Amel Kuljuhovics highlight tape that jumps out as being a good addition to our team. Id see our freshman Rey getting more minutes than this kid. Just looks clumsy with the ball for being an upper classman.

I am not sold on McCray. The best thing I saw was a few of his passes and baby hook. Not one jump shot. If he drops about 25 pounds and gets quicker maybe. I see a lot of fouls with him in the middle ... reaches on block attempts and no vertical at all.

This guy is everything ISU needs. There is no substitute for strength and size to take up space. With him in the middle, it makes Fayne and Malik extremely difficult match ups. Look at how much space Krutwig takes up in the middle.
