Really miss Burford speed and ability to get to the rim. No more 3 s for Foster unless he changes his release point. He needs to stay in the paint and use the rim to shield the better defenders from blocking his shot. The freshmen are earning minutes.

Lots of good minutes in the 2nd half for Pence and Kinziger. Made the run without Lewis or Kasubke doing anything.
Foster could be a dude in the Valley.

Great fight by this team with our two best players on the bench!!!! After getting throttled by the refs in the first half I liked the “never give up” mentality. Good fight by Poindexter (bizarre to see him miss free throws), but never want to see Lieb or Foster attempt another 3 ball all year!!!! All things considered good job in the second half! Get Birford and Lewis back and we are in business.

I posted repeatedly last year - we can't guard without fouling and we turn the ball over too much. Not even one half in and we are at 15 fouls and 7 turnovers. It doesn't matter much what rotations are, who closes games, etc... if we can't fix those two things we'll continue to be a bad basketball team.

100% right. HOPING for much improvement in these areas.
