Strange as it may seem, the 'birds were first in conference and second overall (amongst conference teams) in points against, as opposed to twelfth both conference/overall in points for.
Makes me wonder if we played slow, or if both we and our opponents were both inefficient on offense. The game at Bradley comes to mind.

Does the Valley track points per possession?

I’m sure Pedon loves his guys, but damn would it be nice to see T-Wills back teaching sticky defensive fundamentals. He could probably still lock down just about anyone on this roster.
Unfortunately, he couldn't teach them shooting fundamentals. That's really what they are lacking.,

Wait until Jones finds out he has to play us every year from here on out...

He’s never going to survive going to Bradley or SIU or Murray State. Bradley fans made Drew Valentine cry.

ISU is so racist that he’ll never play here again. 🙄
According to Jones, he just saw the $$ for the buy game and didn't remember the prior incident. He said he would've never taken the game had he remembered. He is a "player's coach" who would never put his players in that potential environment...

Well, it looks like he's been bought again. Seems to have no problem going back to ISU for a bigger paycheck. What a hypocrite.

I guess that guarantees one win a year since they will have to forfeit the game at ISU every year…

You'd think hiring Coach Jones would ruffle some feathers at ISU and the MVC. His program refused to cooperate in our investigation and rejected the results. If the MVC is okay with this, then they are stupid and have little respect for ISU. Also, remember that Jones said he would never talk to Pedon again. There are good natured rivalries and I would love to have one with UIC. This would not be that. This would be very bad for the MVC unless there is serious reconciliation.

I legitimately think there’s a possibility the Norfolk St coach doesn’t know UIC and ISU are in the same conference.

He doesn’t let facts get in the way of a good story, or good publicity for himself that’s for sure
