Watched quite a bit of the CSU-NU game and it was something. Very few students, CSU was playing out their rears, NU was sloppy and couldn't buy a bucket half the time - rimming out, shot clock running down so just threw one up, losing rebounds off their hands, etc. Went to the schedule to make sure we weren't taking on CSU this year!! The guy that threw down 30 for CSU was pretty unstoppable, dunks and 3's alike.

Coach Collins looked to be very gracious in the post-game line to the CSU coach and players.

If/when they get the Bewley twins eligible, Chicago State is going to be a really good team.

Yeah, I was wondering about them last night, figgered out they weren't playing and was thinking the same about "if" they were out there. Altho, for example, that screwball from Eastern Michigan didn't seem to make much difference for them last year.

The Eastern Michigan play (I think) had attitude issues. The twins are just being held back for basically receiving NIL money before NIL was made legal. My understanding is that it happened with at least one other player (at a P5) but that player was cleared to play (imagine that).

Northwestern beat #1 Purdue and then loses to Chicago St….as high and low as it gets!
Transitive Property: If Chicago State > Northwestern and Northwestern > Purdue, then Chicago State > Purdue. I am guessing Chicago State will be ranked #1 this week.

CSU is coming to Madison 12/22 to take on the Badgers and I was pretty settled on invoking my "no college hoops on Friday night" rule and skipping the game. Now, not sure whether to stay solid and skip because it's CSU on a Friday night, or skip because they might take down Badgers, or bite the bullet and attend because they might beat the Badgers. What's a guy to do??? ;)
