A little. Stream a game now and then. Watched their hoops for a while the other night.
Getting a good WR/FS from Rochester (IL)
Henry Buecker. Hell of a player, but only goes about 5-10 150 Comes from the Derek Leonard stable of 9 State Championship since 2010. Very High Football IQ

Yeah, Platteville has quite a few Illinois kids. Whitewater too, Oshkosh some but less. Platteville has had a few down years recently, Whitewater dominated, but Platteville has been coming back. Pretty good squad this past year, 7-4 record. QB this past fall was from St. Charles North, appears to be returning, pretty decent stats. They have a real nice stadium there. And that's a great DIII league.

Speaking of DIII - the football championship was a great game this year although it didn't go the way I wanted. North Central College (Naperville) went for the 2-point conversion near the end of regulation and didn't make it. Lost 38-37 to Cortland. I don't blame them for going for it as they generated 583 yards of offense. NCC had an awesome year and I sure thought they would win another championship. Whitewater has had some great years and are usually in the playoffs bringing their 6 championships with them.

Yes.

There's some pretty good ball played at DIII, especially at the "highest levels" - WIAC (Whitewater, Oshkosh, Platteville, LaCrosse), CCIW (North Central, Wheaton), MIAC (St. John's, Bethel) and on and on. Mount Union in Ohio is tough tough year in and year out. Trinity and Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas are always tough.

North Central QB Luke Lehnen is from Chatham, outside Springfield, Glenwood HS, and he was named DIII player of the year this year. North Central had two ex-Redbirds, WR Joey Lombardi and RB Sean Allen, play prominent roles this year.
