This is only my hang up, and it's somewhat petty, but it drives me flipping nuts. We won 28 games in '16-'17. Not 27, not 26. We have 'hardcore' :liar: fans who don't even know how many games were won from a year and a half ago.

With a little luck, perhaps we'll approach that number again in March.

When I talk about that season I just go with regular season and mvc tournament. So, 27-6 is correct the way I'm using it

And the reason is I fell like nit is playoffs. The nba doesn't count the playoffs in the final standings. I suppose the mvc could be argued either way. Someone saying they went 25-5 wouldn't be wrong either.

I like the 4 for $44 better than the 2 for $22. It gives the families a break. They had a family of 4 deal when my kids were younger. When there were only 3 of us, I would have one of the kids invite a friend for a 4th. I remember us having 6 that wanted to go, so we wound up finding 2 more people to get 8.

I posted it a few weeks ago. Attendance around the country is down something like 140% between 15/16 and 16/17. ISU is not the only school having attendance problems.

There's one thing that will bring people out. Wins.

Over the last 15 years, the correlation between total attendance and total wins is .59. That is very high.
The number for attendance is for each thousand.

I love the Redbirds and still have some friends in the dept but my conclusion about RA attendance is...we don't give the consumer enough value to participate in the 2-3 hour gathering, not just in wins but the event experience itself.

We were 1-0 last year. I only count exhibition games so 1-0 is correct the way I'm using it.

Question...how can the attendance be down 140% from 15/16 to 16/17 ? At a 100% decrease there would be zero fans remaining. Extra zero?

...but yes basketball attendance has been slipping

- Family Plan - 4 upper bowl tickets, 4 popcorns, 4 sodas and a parking pass for $44. Add on tickets are $11. Good for EVERY SINGLE HOME GAME.

This family plan is a good deal. Cheaper than a movie. I'm not sure how they can market this. Maybe to grade schools in the area?

Unfortunately not cheaper than a movie. Most theatres in town here charge $7 or less now. It’s still a good value.

To the people talking about the SF deal and not drawing many people: these things usually sell a ton of tickets. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were 500+ employees collecting, plus at least 500 guest/.s.

Just saw this. Not sure I can make it. I put my sense of humor away for the season, and now I can't find it.
