Humdinger said:This is only my hang up, and it's somewhat petty, but it drives me flipping nuts. We won 28 games in '16-'17. Not 27, not 26. We have 'hardcore' :liar: fans who don't even know how many games were won from a year and a half ago.
With a little luck, perhaps we'll approach that number again in March.

When I talk about that season I just go with regular season and mvc tournament. So, 27-6 is correct the way I'm using it

Jsn, why count only regular season and mvc tourney games?
isuquinndog said:I posted it a few weeks ago. Attendance around the country is down something like 140% between 15/16 and 16/17. ISU is not the only school having attendance problems.
There's one thing that will bring people out. Wins.

YESSSSS I would love to discuss ideas. Solid, concrete ones. Just not on this freakin' board. Meet ya at The Pub II, BB. TP, bring your good leg. Quinn, your tuba and a handful of bottle rockets. ChiRedbirdfan, an exchange student or two (who can play ball for crying out loud!). BirdFriend, your sense of humor. JsN, you too - we could use a pin`ata. Sgt "Doc" Hulka...guard the dang door.
(all are welcome but running out of steam this Sun evening - I'd be writing names till midnight)

I don't go anywhere without one. :shhh:Humdinger said:I thought you knew you're always on the will-call window. All you have to do is show up. Hulka automatically lets you in. With a doctor's exam of course.
Wipe your tears big guy. It's aight.
We were 1-0 last year. I only count exhibition games so 1-0 is correct the way I'm using it.Jsnhbe1Birds said:Humdinger said:This is only my hang up, and it's somewhat petty, but it drives me flipping nuts. This family plan is a good deal. Cheaper than a movie. I'm not sure how they can market this. Maybe to grade schools in the area?
