This family plan is a good deal. Cheaper than a movie. I'm not sure how they can market this. Maybe to grade schools in the area?

Unfortunately not cheaper than a movie. Most theatres in town here charge $7 or less now. It’s still a good value.

I should have said it is cheaper than 4 admissions to a movie, 4 popcorns and 4 drinks.

The family plan is a hot dog not popcorn.

But here is an idea.

Why don't we start a new category in each sport called IDEAS. Individual topic leads can be broken down from there.

Let's hear em. I'm 100% for it. But please, man. For gosh shakes. Do it WITHOUT vitriol and hate. It gets to the point where it is simply DISGUSTING.

I've read a bunch of good ideas on here. A bunch. They are much more appealing amd much less likely to be tuned out if they are presented with a little bit of respect. Good day, sirs and madams.

RICO...I apologize to you. May seem like I'm making fun of you but that's not my intent. I just find it ridiculous that someone IN UPPER ADMINISTRATION would come here to get a common sense opinion on Redbird Athletics. Not because there aren't good ideas. But because of the hateful pile of poo you've got to wade through to get to a good idea.

You said you know admins do post. I object. For the record, I am speaking solely of athletic administration...not the rest of the university.
There was a warning that went out in recent times about not posting on sites like this. Name a department inside of the athletic body. No names. Just a dept.

During the Red Boots administration I was called out by an assistant FB coach for posting here. He had some not so nice things to say to the tune of "Why you puttin stuff on that f'n yahoo website"? I had said nothing that wasn't complimentary towards the football program. I know Denver had his issues, but he's a great guy and I liked him a lot. He was very good to me. Anyway, I changed my name on here because my old one told everyone exactly who I was. The board has become more negative over the years. I'm very negative towards the Lyons clan. I suspect the attitude over there hasn't changed much. So if you have a good idea I would suggest an email or a conversation at a game.

That's a $44 value without the drinks and tickets

Do I think someone in the AD at least passively reads the board? Yes. I don't think they are getting ideas, or at least very many, from this group. More of a temperature of a part of the fan base.

I know players have posted in the past. Most famously, Lloyd Phillips when a lot of fans were all over him. I also know of a couple of former players who have posted, though I don't know of any actively posting now.

Yeah well... that'll happen when you take 12 seconds to bring the ball up the court at least once a game.

I thought $44 included 4 tickets, 4 sodas, and 4 popcorns soda and popcorn. if its just 4 upper bowl tickets then its a piss poor promotion.

sorry, not many families are going to spend $44 dollars then another $20 minimum for at least $65 to see a middling mid-major team that has looked really bad to date. Better give them free popcorn and soda

There is some truth to that. But I guess I'm a sucker then, as countless times I've spent WAY more than $44 (factoring in gas, game tix, Pub, merch, parking, etc.) for way worse teams in less important games and writers sure as hell aren't made out of money to begin with.

Man, I'm not sure how this got so complicated....

Redbird Family Pack - $44 (Click here to order Family Pack tickets.)
Four Upper Bowl tickets (Section QQ)
Four hot dogs
Four small sodas
One parking pass (G82/G83).

So for 11 per person, each one gets a ticket, hot dog, and soda. Parking is included as well.

It is a good deal considering my wife got a pretzel with cheese and a large soda for $11.50 at the last game...

The median cost of a ticket in QQ is 11$ itself. So basically, buy four tickets, get free hot hot dogs, sodas, and parking. Not to mention, parking is usually another 10$. If I had a family with kids, I would jump on this deal. It looks like people have as only 25 tickets remain in that section for tonight's game.

That's what I though it was. Besides popcorn instead of hot dog. Regardless that's a good deal.
