Poor Gregg. Wichita losing four transfers, including their 2nd and 3rd leading scorers.

Who cares? They went to a Final Four. When Dan does that, every single player can transfer every year and he can have a free pass. Hell, actually make the tournament and he can have a pass. WSU would go 18-0 EVERY year in the MVC with their roster.

If the no-sit rule passes next month, this transfer thing is going to get crazy.

Couple that with some ADs and coaches looking to get another year of eligibilty for winter and spring sport athletes and who knows what any roster will look like.

Two questions:

Would it be for all students whose season did not end (Bradley) or all students in that sport (Illinois State)?

Also, what does that do for incoming freshmen/transfers. Does each roster get expanded by say three spots to accommodate both for a year?

Part of the appeal for players going to Wichita was that they would win almost all of their games while dominating their conference. They were probably the closest thing to Gonzaga when they left the Valley. Despite being in a better conference, it is not as appealing about playing for a team that loses 7 conference games.
In my opinion, Wichita is a rare case where recruiting was easier because they were in a less competitive conference. Gonzaga is the other rare case where I think they can recruit better in their conference as opposed to if they were in a power 6.
