The forecast has been threatening rain on Saturday for at least a week ... sell out will not happen. As it happens, I can not make game .. but not because of weather. For the record ... I made it thru entire NDSU game last year ... 20 mph winds, non-stop rain, turned sleet, turned snow .. the snow was by far the easiest to deal with.ST_Lawson said:What's the likelihood that it'll be sold out before the game? There's a guy I know who lives about a half hour from Normal and he's thinking about going, but wants to know if it's likely there will be tickets available to be sold at the gate?

Neither the wife, nor daughter, would be up for sitting through a rainstorm. Cara and I came to the NDSU game last year, and she was an awesome sport about it as we stayed for the whole game, but that experience has her backing down if it's storming up there for WIU.
So, sounds as though you feel like tickets would be easy to get if we just wait until day of to make the call.

The weather (predictions, at least) are shaping up in a similar way to EIU. Tailgating is looking like a game time decision. EIU's weather predictions were for rain and high wind...nothing really happened and it was a nice night for football. Hoping the same for today!
Variable cloudiness, a couple of showers and a thunderstorm; warm and humid.
