The 8-9 Redbirds are slated to play the 5-15 Cougars, 7-13 Huskies, and 6-12 Braves. SIUE will mark the home opener and the start of a 6 game home stand. ISU has a common opponent with SIUE in SLU. They lost 8-13 to SLU. They also lost 1-7 to SIU, and lost 2 of 3 to UIC. Braves have a matchup with the Illini on Tuesday. This week is a great opportunity to go above .500. Could easily win 4 games with some quality play.

The NIU game will mark the first game at Duffy Bass for former Redbird and Head Coach, Ryan Copeland.

Ball was flying out of the park today! Started out hot and got off to a 10-2 lead before conceding a bunch. Home runs for Rabin, Rasmussen, Sokolove, Nichols and Morris. Here's Morris' moonshot.

Disappointing loss yesterday 9-8. The Redbirds scored 3 in the eighth to tie the game but allowed a HR in the 9th.

The stream for today's game was cancelled. They must not have enough production personnel to stream it?

Not missing a whole lot. Allowed six runs in the top of the first. Pathetic.

This is not good - lost the first two to a bad BU team. Lost 9-8 and 12-6 - pitching, pitching, pitching.

Good bounce back today to get back to .500. Very costly to lose 2 out of 3 at home to preseason #10 Bradley though. Could really use a series win on the road against a good Missouri State team.

ISU is 2nd in the league in runs per game at 8.8, but they are 7th in ERA at 6.54. Before today's performance from Tanner Perry, they were 9th.

Louisville transfer Noah Smith had a 3 run double in a rare start.
