I watched probably one of the worst half court offenses in the history of college basketball yesterday. I'm hopeful today is better.
In my opinion, the worst offense is when we just stand on the perimeter and jack 3's. Even though the execution was not there, at least we tried to run something. It looked we also had a few shot clock violations in attempt to slow down the tempo. Maybe we can get it right against Northern Iowa because I don't think we can run with them.

Four turnovers in first 5 minutes doesn’t bode well. Reeves drawing from the bank as the shot clock runs out does bode well. Up 8-7 at 1st media timeout.

Agreed. It has to be a layup or jack a three or they don’t shoot and the threes outnumber the layups.

Lack of interior presence is killing us. Falling in love with jump shots will keep us in it only if we hit our shots. Lack of any consistent defense isn’t helping. Guys looking for blocks are missing guys cutting to the bucket.

I’m so disappointed that we have no inside scoring capability from Schmidt, McChesney, N’diaje, or Andrews. Lewis is a decent player, but when you look at the relative weakness of our front court players, is it any wonder that we dribble and Jack 3s? And once upon a time we had Ron DeVries, Joe Galvin, Billy Lewis, Tony Holifield, Jarrod Coleman, Rico Hill, etc. Scorers and Rebounders as inside players,

Billy Lewis was not an inside player.
