worst switching defense I’ve seen. Maybe ever. Guards guarding bigs. Bigs guarding guards. It’s so lazy. And easy. All they have to do literally is run high ball screens and they get a dunk or a wide open three

How about our offense? It's so easy to defend. Pack it in, close gaps, and make the so-called shooters- shoot away.

I’m hoping we won’t be signing pedon to any long term deal. Cue the “Larry Lyons sucks” chant.

This is the worst off the ball defense in some time. Was anything in the scouting report regarding how Darius Hannah rolls to the bucket on a pick and roll? Did the scouting report show how BU guards go back door the hole?
The defensive off ball IQ of our team is horrible.

Game was pretty much what I thought. Begrudgingly, Bradley is just light years ahead of us in roster talent and quite honestly better coached. Our staff seemed woefully unprepared and looked like they never even had a scouting report on the Braves. “The definition of insanity.” That being said, the talent on the floor easily outshines the best we can roll out there. Just have to tip your cap, we are not there yet. I did like the fight in the second half. The remaining players coming back next year are getting a front row view as to how far we are away from the top (Ind St., Drake, Bradley). On a side note, I suspect that Mal was playing freely for the first time in a long time. Getting good looks, positioning himself and knocking them down. Obviously, easier to do when coming in the game in a blowout situation, no doubt, but I liked to see his stroke come back again. It’s going to be a fight in the middle of the pack the rest of the way in the MVC.

For the first time, I'll say I am ALL IN on Chase Walker. Unless he's on an injury minute restriction he has shown himself worthy of 20 min a game. I'm very curious why he didn't play more because he was effective and the first 3 times he went into the game, we'd go on a small run offensively.

Bradley is better in every single aspect (players AND coaching) and exposed our holes...which are many. But I absolutely believe Chase and Johnny, and I'm hoping Ty...are definitely players to build around. I hope to goodness they stick around. In other words, pretty much what Vboy said.

I was confused by Ty starting. Anyone else have thoughts on that?? He still looks overmatched mentally and somewhat physcially. Which, he's a freshman, so I get it. Did I miss something...did he start against Murray St?

FWIW, I think BU fans looked pretty bored, too . . .

Bad game. Not much more to say.
I agree. I mentioned earlier in the thread I wasn’t looking forward to the “BU” chants ringing through the arena. I think it only happened three times. Their fans even see “oh, this is an exhibition.” The top three in the league are in a league of their own. I do think Thursday at the Lou is going to have some really fun and competitive games. Friday is going to be three blowouts, whoever plays the top three and then the whoever emerges as 4 will play a tight game.

I wish it were us, but I must say I am excited with the top end of The Valley. We have 3 teams that could win a game (or more) in The Dance. IF things stay on par, we are deserving of 2 teams in the NCAA but I doubt they'll let it happen.
