I really like Liam. I thought he had a heck of a high ceiling. He just didn't seem to put it together here at ISU. I thought he was starting to buy them he got sick and then hurt and wasn't the same after that. I hope he lands somewhere where he can play his stretch four spot.

I heard we are recruiting a power forward from Dinosaur, Co., named Rex Tyranno. The good news is he is 12 feet tall, the bad news is he has a tendency to short arm his shots.

Technically for next year it should look like this for scholarship

graduate studnt
-Kotov
-Sissoko
-Lewis
-Schmitt

Senior
-Poindexter
-Burford
-Kusubke

Freshman
-Pence
-Kinziger
-Walker

We have 3 scholarships available now but it could be as many as 5 or 6 depending on Kotov, Sissoko and Schmitt. Just because Kotov and Sissoko went thru senior night they can come back.

Personally, I would like to see Sissoko come back. His athleticism can really be helpful at times.
Eh. Hasn’t gotten him very far minus that block. Like Liam it’s time to turn it into something. I’m more than fine washing as much stink from the end of the Muller era off as possible. KLew was the only “must keep.”

I suspect Lewis is the alpha-dog on the team...his leadership will be important with any new players.

Bird Grad 2011---I agree with you on Sissoko. His flashes of brilliance have been scattered. I keep thinking he will fulfill what I think his potential is.

I would take sissoko over Schmitt and Kotov. I’m sure they are great people- but depends if you are trying to build a program!

Yeah, I've always been a Sissoko "backer" based on potential. Would be nice to see him reach it. Would be nice to see him add 15-20 pounds of muscle. He could be a 235 pound beast in the paint. Would be nice to see him learn to keep his hands to himself. Pedon has been very positive toward him, seems like a good guy. But at some point, gotta turn it into production.

Man what a theme coming from the Muller players. Been a trend the last 4-5 years on these athletic guys dripping with potential, but never reaching it.
