Tinsley came in known as a streaky shooter. If this was the start of a hot steak for him the timing couldn't be better. His shot looks smoother recently, even at bu.

EC lost critical development time with the injury. I said it at the time that this would be more or less a 'lost' season for him after missing all that time.

Nothing I've seen makes me think otherwise. Very similar to Key losing most of his freshman season.

It's a shame. Basically he's playing catch up for the rest of his career.
Seems like a cop out. So the only way for a player to reach their potential is to play an injury and adversity free career?

Not at all what I said.

Missing time, especially as a freshman, makes reaching potential much harder than it is already. Can it be done? Yes. But it's much more difficult with the road he now has to travel.

Does that make sense or is this still a cop out to you?
Basically he's playing catch up for the rest of his career.

But that’s basically what this statement conveys. That he can never be what he could have been.

No. It really doesn't say that at all. It says and means exactly what it says and means. He will be playing catch up. That's what I said and that's what I meant.

Still cloudy? Can't help you if you are.

Oh, changing to “playing catch up”, and taking off the “for the rest of his career” part now.

No longer a cop out for the player. Just for you.

Pick a lane.

Lol

You are a funny guy. I said he will be playing catch up the rest of his career. Yes. I NEVER said or implied that he couldn't close the gap or reach his potential. Never. Those were YOUR words. That was your lame interpretation. I merely said it will be much more difficult than if he hadn't missed critical development time.

I don't cop out on things. Perhaps that's a shoe that's comfortable on your foot when it's not jammed down your throat. Or up your ass.

Now I could be wrong but didn’t EC’s 2 point basket come from a drive to his right? Kid is an athlete. Clearly set back by his injuries ! Lots of time yet for him to develop as a high school player to a college player

Maybe, late in the season, Dan has decided to go against his DNA in that this group of players is not going to get wins with a defense-based rotation that is limited to score and instead is going to go with anoffense-leaning approach that rides the guys that are hot.

And the "who" vary by night.

Rico mentioned MY getting on EC about being slow on defense, but he also jumped over most the team twice in the first half when he got tied up. Telling them to "MOVE...Don't stand, MOVE!" It was nice to see the leadership o the floor.

On the point of Dan playing the hot hand, it is nice he is finally doing this. Over the last 6 years I have gotten tired of watching someone make a shot or two only to be taken out!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE continue to play the "Hot Hand!!!!!"

He also got on a couple guys who made bad entry passes to him. He kept saying "throw it to my hand". I thought he played very controlled and focused in the 2nd half. And one of the reasons we shot so well is his passes were in the right place for the guys to catch and shoot with little extra motion.

When he plays like that there's nobody in the conference that can stop him. He just has to keep his cool and stay focused.

Again, when the game is still playing quicker to you, you revert to your strongest skillset.

EC can go right.

He'll be a very, very good player for us when his career is over.

:text-+1:

I agree. Yes, he can go right, but he goes to the left better. I eat burritos better with my right hand, but can switch up if needed.
I think EC will be a stud, mostly because he is quick and strong and will get fouled a lot. I think next year him and Milik will be causing a lot of foul problems for other teams, and it will be fun watching Copeland and Evans shoot threes. WT will be shooting at a much higher percentage next year, as well as Bruniga. And Gassman is Gassman. This year has been a mess with our shooting, but next year it could be our strength.

Did anyone notice that Keyshawn seemed to be yelling at Elijah Clarence when they were in together? Seemed to be some hostility but possibly just Keyshawn showing leadership.

Absolutely not. Phil, MilIk, and Keyshawn, hell even Hein are leaders on the team and have said they take Elijah under their wing. I don't think there is any hostility. EC is a really competitive player in all facets. Even when Key was out, he was talking to EC at every timeout. Thats what Dknight did to PLee and it worked pretty well to have a veteran leader in your corner.
