Right before half time ended, Hein had the ball on the side of the court with the seconds ticking down when somebody yelled behind me 'clear out for Hein'. I got a kick out of that. He definitely has improved from last year. EC look a little frustrated to me.

I think you have done a good job. You think he's a stud. We get it. And, you are right. I'm not surprised at all by this given MY's basketball history at ZBHS and SLU prior to ISU. Good bloodlines. Del and 2 successful brothers in college basketball ... one a star at Tennessee. It's nice to have a guy that can get what he wants, whenever he wants, and create for others. Those players have become rare in this program. Now, put something around him quickly, and capitalize.

He's the only player that gets the other team in foul trouble. Nice to see that happening this year, plus he can usually hit the free throws too.

That's awesome, hahahahahaaa!! That's the kind of energy that makes the game experience FUN and contagious.

Birdfriend, you are the one who made the bogus comment that both teams (ISU, IWU) have about the same number of fans in the stands.

I don't mind folks being critical or down on our program. That is what forums are for. It just seems there are many times some folks come here and go out of their way to make petty, cheap, baseless slams. I don't expect this site to be all sunshine and lollipops. Often you have to call it like it is, RBF could never be accused of being a bunch of kool aid chuggers. But let's keep it real.

Are you talking to Birdfriend72 or Bird Friend? I didn't say anything about attendance. 72 said it.

That’s because someone (Birdfriend) said to another person (Birdman85) that if they didn’t like the way things were going...there was another college basketball team across town.

That’s the mentality that has lead to the declining #s in attendance over the years. I know many don’t care because they want to be known as the super fan. But...the more seats in the stands, the more money generated for this program.

Actually I was suggesting he go watch another team since he is disgusted by ours. Then I suggested you could do the same. But you probably didn’t notice since you’re too busy finding fault with Birds.
