Man have times have changed. Admin should get some credit here. It wasn't that long ago that you couldn't watch 5 games on TV.

I see what you are saying and I do like that I can see the birds on TV, especially away games, but don't you think all the availability of TV could be part of the problem of us not being able to fill the arena with fans.
Back when I was a student you had to "fight" to get a good seat in the student section. And it seemed like if you were not early to other tickets you were sitting pretty high in the upper bowl.
I now talk to friends who used to go to games from time to time that now say... "I will just watch them on ESPN3 instead of going to the game with you"... Even when I have a ticket waiting for them.
I sound like a grumpy old man here but TV is kinda slowly killing live sports in my mind. It certainly has killed it for me for professional sports. Way better experience and cost to watch on TV for NFL, etc. I think that is trickling down to college sports now. Maybe not all for the better?

I just don't think the lack of students (not just at ISU) is as simple as "they are all on TV". Sure, there is probably some of that but I think that school loyalty, scandals and having a billion other choices for something to do are big factors too.
