What do we know about these guys?

Campos took a lot of visits (Illinois, North Dakota, Eastern Michigan, Miami of Ohio, and Cincy. Purdue also showed interest.). His recruiting process was quick. We offered on Sept 2 and he committed last night. His only other offer I found was from Minnesota State.

Baltz held offers from EIU, WIU, Butler, and Georgetown. He had interest or visited NDSU, Western Michigan, Youngstown State, The Citadel, Miami OH, Davidson, and UAB. He's gone to camps all of the country. A lot of money has been put into his football career.

Our recruit from Madison, Jeremiah Jordan, who's listed as a LB and also was on the recruiting sites earlier, was named first team All Big Eight Conference as a DB (listed at 6'2 205 lbs.). So not sure if he's already made the move to DB or if he'll put on some lbs. and stay at LB for Spack, or what.

But in any event, nice to see he made all conference.

For our Wisconsin commits, good news:

DE/LB Matthew Wedig, 6'4 220lb, from Beloit Memorial was named first team all state by the coaches association as a DE.

LB Jeremiah Jordan, 6'2 205 lb, from Madison Memorial was named honorable mention as a DB.

H Jack Kelly, 6'2 232 lb, from Stevens Point Area HS was named honorable mention as a DE.

They didn't name 2nd team/3rd team, so honorable mention is the only recognition after first-team. All three are on the "large school" team.

The "bad news" :

Wisconsin Defensive Player of the Year is Waunakee HS DE Reed Ryan, a BISON recruit!! :snooty:
