They say a team takes on the characteristics of their coach. Muller looks lost. Another Thursday night for us.

Look at the bright side, we will save some $$ on travel expenses by losing early again.

This guy sucks.

What happened to Tone's aggressiveness? And why didn't Fleming see much action in the hm second half? The high screen offense doesn't work without Chatman. There shouldn't be a game where Freeman takes more shots than Reeves. A month ago this looked like a sure win. My how things have changed.

This all but guarantees our 3rd consecutive losing season. First time ever. We need to go 6-2 just to end up .500.

Time to get rid of Dan.

Apparently, Fleming hurt his hip and could not return. 2-12 down the stretch is not going to win u any games. Lewis and Reeves with 12?

Fleming hurt his hip

SIU was daring Freeman to shoot the ball. They face guarded Reeves and trapped him whenever he got the ball. Whoever was guarding Josiah never left him. They were going to make the other three players beat them. Lewis and Freeman combined for 10 turnovers and simply looked lost offensively and lacked confidence. Lewis missed some easy bunnies and Freeman really shot witout confidence. It reminded me of Keyshawn Evans his senior year when teams did everything to take away Malik and Phil. Key, Tinsley, and Josh could not make the pay.

The defensive game plan by SIU and an extremly hot Jones = a loss.

That and about 2 minutes of ISU defensive intensity for the entire game(the reason EVERYBODY shoots better against the Birds).

How many turnovers did we have inbounding the ball under out basket and how many layups did they get on those turnovers?

I watched the “The Tape Never Lies” podcast on the Bears the other night. They had Kaplan as a guest and he was just getting home after calling the ISU Loyola game. He said and I quote “ Illinois State is a shitty basketball team.”

Nothing changed tonight.

Doesn’t matter- Muller would screw it up if he had Jordan.

Maybe we could have reminded him how the Birds hung tough with Jackson St and Eville.

Moral victories...because we’re aren’t getting many real ones.

Thursday night...again. This is Redbird basketball.
