All that fussing about doing better, getting out of mediocrity, and you want to go back to Jank, which by his performance also means the NIT is the best case scenario for ISU. You don't want better, you just want Muller gone. Thank you for the clarification.

Do you think Jankovich brought more talent to ISU than Muller has?

Deflection. You've made your case for the NIT.
Look, I like Dan Muller. I like the scheduling by Dan and I like the fact he isnt afraid to play anybody. I dont think Dan is a "players coach" and that is starting to show more and more. Yes, you need discipline but you cant be throwing your team under the bus in public and any time in a game someone makes a mistake you bench them. With that said, I thought Jank had more talent on his teams and better recruiter than Dan. The players liked him more.
The scheduling philosophy could be improved by Jank but that has proven to not matter in this conference.

Moser left the cupboard pretty well stocked for Jankovich, who then made it even better his second year. We had legitimate star power his first two seasons. Despite the head-scratching loss or two (anyone remember that Eastern Michigan game?) had Jank scheduled just a LITTLE better we would've gotten two, possibly three at-larges. I remember the last three undefeated teams in 2009 were us, Duke and UNC, all at 14-0...but the ESPN guys laughed at us when our best win was at Bowling Green.

Jank also couldn't win on Sunday in St. Louis either, and that streak continues.

Muller scheduled better, won the conference, had a good rpi and the NCAA still left us out. Those days of scheduling good teams to get an at large bid are probably over. November is a time we need to focus on developing our team. Who we play is so overrated. I wish non-conference games were in February, then it would be a true test of how good a team is.

Everybody laughed at Jank's schedule including Bradley and the whole MVC. It was a complete joke and embarrassing. You're right, We got rid of Moser one year too soon and left Jank with a good team to start with.

Jank was a coward with his eyes on a better future only.

Yes the Eastern Michigan game where we lost at a capacity crowd of 250 people due to a snow storm

Look at Milik’s numbers since Dan called him out publicly. At one of the breaks in today’s games they did a piece on this. Dan said that he did it bc he thought Milik would respond and he knew he had a good enough relationship with him that he could do it and Milik wouldn’t hold it against him. Also Dan has almost completely gone away from yanking a guy as soon as he makes a mistake. If anything I think he’s let guys go a little too long while they are struggling.
One thing I do see him struggling with still is when to call a timeout to stop a run. Also find it interesting that we have won the last 2 games shortening the rotation without Hein or Gassman logging minutes. Not saying they don’t have a role on this team, but I feel like we have played our 8 most talented guys and come out with W’s.

Why did Dan wait so long to call MY out, I don't think he waited, it just hadn't worked and I'll be surprised if this lasts.

Penn State will be a weak bottom dweller in the Big Ten. Look at the game stats. They were like 4-27 from three. Terrible representation for their conference. Embarrassing.

Bradley just might be 11-1 going into conference season but it won't show the whole picture -- their piss poor schedule. Might give them confidence going into the conference though.
