I remember some on here saying we needed another point guard after PLee’s sophomore year.Humdinger said:I like Reeves and Horne, and they've had some impressive games. I am particularly high on Reeves' ability to create good things for himself and teammates when he's on the floor. The energy of the game changes when he's in. But neither one of them are near good enough at this point to warrant any serious consideration from a PeePee (barring a monster MVC tourney for both...unlikely). If they go anywhere it will be a lateral move. Tobacco Road ain't calling unless it's High Point.

But, both of you are out of touch with what is going on in Illinois and at ISU. That may very well be how it is viewed in Florida, but not here.

It seems like every year we lack continuity with coaches and players which screws up recruiting and the plans for the roster. You’ve got to love seeing the work Belcher is putting in on recruiting, especially securing guys in the early recruiting period. These guys normally show a higher level of commitment compared to spring recruits. We see it time and time again how bigger schools can poach these type of guys in the spring period. I think Reeves and Horne know what they can accomplish here and are ready to take on becoming the face of the program going forward. The guys coming in also recognize the young talent we’ve got on this roster that they can build upon. Ndiaye’s potential doesn’t get talked about enough on here as well. If he can add weight, worst-case scenario is he’s only an anchor of our post defense moving forward.
