Could you imagine living your life like this? Living on twitter and blocking people that disagree with you? I love me some Redbird sports, and twitter for that matter (up do date sports info in one place) but holy shit people need to get a life sometimes!!!
I don't understand people like that but if Reeves isn't good enough for the Kentucky fanbase because he's not a 5* recruit then I would take him back.

Maybe be proactive and turn this whole transfer portal B.S. around...........our new recruiting sales pitch could be "If you come to Illinois State, you might end up somewhere like Kentucky."

Just a thought.
Kentucky, Minnesota, Arizona St, Utah, Oregon, Boston College, Illinois

How about, “Come to ISU where you can get instant minutes and be a part of something special”?

Ha! I believe I’m blocked on this very site by many.

Reeves' top five: Nebraska, Kentucky, Xavier, Oregon, DePaul.

I'm not a Kentucky fan, per se...but given their track record of sending kids to professional basketball under Calipari...if they've offered, how do you turn that down?? Worried about playing time?? Fair enough, but compete, figure it out along the way, and stand out. Playing time will arrive.

If I'm in UK's shoes, I'm moving on. Kentucky doesn't beg.

For the record, I do believe Antonio is a good kid and I'm a fan. I certainly realize it may not be the right fit for Reeves personally. But man. Kentucky.

I could see Xavier or Oregon, but nebraska and depaul...why?
Totally agree on Neb, I could see a case being made for DePaul - playing in Chicago half your games, Stubblefield building a new "culture", MVC transfer Freeman-Liberty did real well this year. Wouldn't be my choice, but I could see it being in the mix.

Kentucky is also in on Baylor Scheierman as well, so Tone could have competition for that transfer scholarship as well.

Personally, of the ones he's narrowed down to I'd choose Oregon or Kentucky. Depaul only if you wanted to play in front of the hometown, the other two, eh, likely not getting much of what you were looking for when you left.

Any word on why wisky hasn't bubbled up to the top? Sort of thought that was going to be where he landed.
I've got no inside info, discussion board has mentioned him quite a bit, people wondering why UW wasn't on his final five. No one can say if UW offered. They've had a few others come in, guards and bigs. Picked up the UWGB kid. Have apparently whiffed on a couple of the bigs - Vander Plas from Ohio U. to Virginia, Skogman from Buffalo to Davidson. Some say they're working on SG Max Kesmit from Wofford, Kristian Lander from Indiana, a DII transfer from Tampa Max Jones. They've still got 3-4 schollies left.

Wonder why they aren’t all in on Brandin Podz (Illinois) or Logan Landers (Kansas State). Both are skilled kids from Wisconsin. They are my dream to come here but never going to happen.

Not sure about Landers. For Podz, the story is one way or the other there was no interest in HS and the grudge is still alive, one way or the other.

For whatever reason, Badgers have a spotty record with the top Wisconsin kids. Minnesota kids, no problem. But the locals, many leave (or go to Marquette, which is worse!). Dick Bennett and Bo Ryan were kind of picky, my way or the highway type guys, Gard too to some extent. That may play into it. They had a verbal from Tyler Herro, who ended up at Kentucky and then the NBA. Of course Johnny Davis came. Kobe King came then left.

Long winded.

I may be off base but Brandin Podz reminds me of Tyler Herro. He’d be such an absolute haul. Pedon and Offutt both value, but I’d almost believe it’s a pipe dream.

“NIL is also a huge topic when it comes to consideration of schools,” the source told KSR. “The two most important factors here are how much he can earn in college, and how large of a role he can have on the team.”

He could stay at ISU and make tens of tens of dollars.

Still not too late for that NIL to fill our small forward vacuum! Playing time is not a problem.

Really starting to hate college basketball.
