put me in the, this really sucks column. I hate friday night college games. Changes the whole game day dynamic ... its college football ... thats saturday damn it !!!!

Totally agree - 1pm Saturday is the only time college football should be allowed to start. Altho I learned to love a night football game at ISU. But not Friday.

Minnesota has in recent years taken to start their season on the Thursday before Labor Day and that seems even dumber, but at least didn't conflict with HS games.

I think part of footballs success is the scheduling simplicity ... Friday night is HS, Saturday is college, Sunday is NFL .... easy peasy .. simple to follow and plan for, whether going to game and tailgating, or staying home to watch on TV. Husbands spend years getting their wives used to these basic facts of life ... and then yo move the frikcing game to friday night ?????????

Madbrid..you are living in the early to mid 1900's when stadiums did not have lights. :lol: I would bet a lot more Isu alum will watch on a Friday night vs a Saturday 1:00 game.

Hey, what's the deal with "time shifting" then, viewing on demand? Let the "too busy for Saturday afternoon football" crowd download it and view when it pleasures them. The rest of us can catch it at the "regular" time!!

Look at the attendance for the MAC on those week nights - horrible. I would think long and hard about not buying season tickets if games are not on a Saturday.
