One thing that has NOT been brought up - that it seems like it comes up a lot - is the people who never stand up and bitch about people who do stand up. I have not seen one mention or comment concerning this differential? May be no one cares anymore? Just wondering?

Not enough people go to the games and stand. I haven't had this issue this season, I try to be courteous of those around me, I do have a few really nice older people behind me who have never asked me to sit down, but I make sure I'm not over the top with it. I sit in a pretty active section. My two biggest pet peeves at games are: our fans cheering the Birds on offense after the other team goes on a run and that we all sit immediately after the opening tip off. For an example to the first point say the SIU game- Southern goes on a 16-2 run or whatever and after they score their 18th point, our fans start to cheer. You are supposed to cheer loudly when the Birds are on defense to hopefully create enough noise that the team on offense has trouble communicating.

But, all of this has been discussed before. For whatever reason, the fans that do come don't like to actively participate unless it is the Steak Drop.

One thing that was brought up on another thread, seems like more of the corporate seats are behind the benches, which causes more empty seats on TV. I wonder if there is any way to encourage those corporate donors to move to the opposite side so it looks better.

I assume most of those companies buying the seats really don’t care- they are giving the tickets away most of the time and obviously many of them are going unused. I guess this could upset the donors on the non-bench side who don’t want to move (not sure how the corporate vs personal priority points are setup). ISU can tell (I assume) what seats are used regularly with the scanners. Push the ticket holders that attend less games to the same side as tv camera.
