Don't stoke fires without some proof or without identifying who it will be.

I saw one of the players with a very medically wrapped left arm. The elbow looked pretty swollen and a out of place, and the player was favoring it significantly. There could have been a number of things under the medical wrap to give it a swollen appearance: additional gauze, ice, etc. His status at the time was unclear.

Could this be why Gassman did not play Thursday?
That crossed my mind however he looked fine in warm-ups

Hopefully it was Litwiller!

Really screwed up. Disgusting.

Why is it screwed up? If there IS a player injured, wouldn’t you hope it was a walk-on and not someone you rely on? Especially during the end of the conference season, right before Arch Madness?

Sorry, sad attempt at a joke saying I hope it was not one of our top 8. No offense to Luke.

Wait. What?? Hein's not only the President, but he's also dating??

Whoever this Hein kid is, he must be some kinda stud. Does he play basketball, too??
EC dates a Bradley volleyball player. Treasonous.

Specifically hoping someone is hurt is just messed up...wow dude

Because wishing injury on any player, star or not, is a disgrace.

Wishing someone gets hurt is different than being relieved it’s someone that’s least impactful. I’ll bet some of these high morality posters have been fine with players on the opposition getting injured.

He wasn’t wishing injury on anyone. He was saying that IF someone is injured, hopefully it’s not someone that effects the outcome of games as much. Big difference.

Sure...
I am deeply saddened to see such bigotry on this post. It's horrible that people can't see the forest through the trees with their bias comments..we are talking about human beings here

I'm completely blown away from the posts.Confidence is ignorance. If you're feeling cocky, it's because there's something you don't know. There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.

You don’t like seeing guys injured but this certainly presents opportunity for David, Will, Taylor to step up. Those 3 guys had 36 pts against SIU. Need to keep stepping up.

Same for Elijah.

We may be down another one for Sunday. Stay tuned.

It’s the Red Panda. She fell off her unicycle when she reached for a wayward bowl tossed her way. Nothing to see here. Move along.

I know nothing! But Hein dove for a ball on the floor late in the game and came up holding his elbow.

I remember injuring my right elbow on a slippery walk from Wright Hall to class. Had to learn how to drink from a red Solo cup from my left hand for the next few months. Brutal.

I remember falling down the stairs to The Cellar and broke both my arms. I had to wear the beer helmet with straws the rest of the semester. It was kind of embarrassing in class, but after 9 years, it was just time to graduate so you did what you had to do.

Tired of it!

Spread it!

Does anybody really know the extent of Faynes injury? The more I think about it the more I realize just how much he contributed to this team. He is a major spoke in the wheel of this team. I just hope God hears my prayers for this star to return to help salvage this season

God is on Loyola’s side.

You must be Catholic, cuz a Protestant would say otherwise. ;)

So my spidey senses have been on alert for a while now. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that one person in this thread (and others) is posting on multiple accounts? I'll leave it to y'all to figure out who, but it really shouldn't be too difficult. #sneakymofo

Only update from @Redbird_MBB is that Phil Fayne has a sprained left ankle. Really don't expect him to play Sunday at Valparaiso. It didn't look good Thursday. #mvc
