I really don't want Horton to go. It's valuable space and when you give space away you rarely get it back. Just needs to be better taken care of. . I've been in many amazing new practice facilities. I can't think of a single school that then tore down an existing Fieldhouse. And the bleachers on the west side are great seats. After the practice facility the next up on my agenda would be south end zone with field level boxes.

Agree...keep it if it is structurally sound....wisconsin got the Kohl center, practice facilities yet keep the old fieldhouse as an example

And the old field house is home to the nationally prominent volleyball team and is being refurbished this year to add seats (actually reopen the upper balcony) and it provides an awesome venue. Also used for wrestling I believe.

MSU also "re-purposed" Jenison Fieldhouse for volleyball, wrestling, etc.

My neice was a gymnast at MSU and they compete at Jenison. Cool building.
Michigan turned an old fieldhouse into their hockey arena. Loud as hell.
