Well, I know they did not want to make a big mistake near their own endzone but that was pathetic. Not even a whiff of an attempt to pick up the first down and great field position for NIU. So far this offense STINKS to high heaven.

Davis can't execute, Robinson has zero yards rushing and the "BIG 10" offensive line can't block. It is fun watching the defense though.

seems like the O-line can not open holes however Davis seems to have had decent pass protection

If the Birds are going to win this game I think the offense has to do something on this upcoming drive. The defense has played great. Somebody on offense has to step up and make a play or two.

Grimes is going to be a stud eventually .. learned his lesson on the muffed punt. Then handled this one like a veteran ... elbows tucked, especially in the rain.

The 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty was huge on NIU ... now we aren't nearly as backed up to start this drive.
