I mean, I did a shameless victory lap or two at ISU. I'm proud of it  Tried for another one but they basically forced me to graduate.

Older athletes are particularly common in the Utah schools, no? For example, didn't Utah State have a PG who was like 34 on one of their tourney teams in the 2010s?

According to a recent Transfer Portal chart, Liam has transferred to High Point, so he won’t be anywhere in the rotation next year.

Not sure if this has been shared/discussed. The roster has been updated.
There are bigger fish to fry, but I don't understand how Sissoko can be on the roster for 4 years (going on 5) and only gain 7 pounds from the day he weighed in first. Shouldn't he be at least a 225 lb (really 235 lb) inside beast at this point? Who runs the hoops weight room for crissakes? Likewise Schmitt - geez, he LOST 5 pounds in two years. Shouldn't he have been bulking up since day 1? Up to 230 at least by now, more!!

Thanks, have a nice day.

I don't recall us ever having a roster without a single soph or junior. That's odd. Gonna be a completely new team again after this season.

Maybe, maybe not. The only two folks out of eligibility are Schmitt and Lewis. I don't imagine Sissoko would come back for two additional seasons after his senior day ceremony, but you never know. So, if everything goes well, ideally, we're running it back with mostly the same squad in '24-'25. Then, in Feb '25 there is a several hour long senior day ceremony featuring Poindexter, Burford, Kasubke, Lieb, Davis, Foster, and Banks.

Great job by Reid Watkins! Very good journalism and I appreciate it this day and age!! Go get 'em kid!

Now, as far as Chase...I am very very intrigued to see him play. Skilled big bodies...that's a game changer. Footwork hands and eyes. I CRAVE those kinds of players. Time will tell.

"Chase can really play. And whenever his body is right and able to play consistent minutes at this level, I think he is going to be a real problem," Pedon said. "He's a very unique player. He has great footwork. He has great hands and he can pass ball better than any big man that I've ever (recruited)."

I have made comparisons to Walker with Krutwig with colleagues, and admittedly that is probably setting the expectations too high and unfair for a freshman that has not played a minute. However, I see so many similarities in their games - especially in the passing game Pedon mentions. Chase looks like he may have more shooting range than Krutwig. We will see how Chase does against D1 players.

I remember telling Mal before Chase got on campus about this dudes footwork and passing ability. I like him. If he keep his weight under control and can be good from the ft line he’d be a huge plus. I’m really excited about Pence and his ability to contribute right away.

Pence is sounding like the real deal so far.
