1) What has the rest of the valley shown to where you and Vance have the Redbirds so low everytime you do rankings? We clearly are one of the more talented teams in this league (as compared to majorly underwhelming MVC teams) I’d say 5th is much more reasonable.

2) Outside of crapping the bed against Jackson State, we’ve been very solid and getting much better.

3) Dear lord why is Vance so low on ISU. He does realize we knocked off missouri state (whom he loves)?

I can’t speak for Vance, but I’m low on the Birds because I’m a fan and jaded. I’m becoming more and more optimistic, but the last couple years have done a number on me. But I hope you’re right, we need some tangible improvements this year.

And fwiw, we beat UNI 2 years ago and followed it up with like 7 losses in a row and that’s a little fresh. This year feels different but it’s still in the back of our minds.
