Wow. Nobody has posted about the UVA game? History folks. I wasn't even watching and Twitter started blowing up with about 7 minutes left in the game.

Congrats to UMBC!

Now . . . how is the NCAA going to make sure this never happens again??

Had it on the 32”. It graduated to a 55” in the 2nd half. Gotta have 5 TVs in the living to monitor all, including IHSA.

Nice to see UMBC eff up the NCAAs precious tourney script.

Go Retrievers!
The Retrievers are making some Golden memories.

I knew a woman who went to Mother McCauley then Loyola. She told me that when she found out I was from Chicago. So I said "you must be really loose".

She laughed, and I knew we would be good friends.

So when the ACC offers ISU membership, we should decline?

Iam certain that is not what bb fan is trying to say!

Some on here seem to be implying Wichita made a mistake by leaving. Just not sure what point is trying to be made? Maybe just piling on Muller’s tweet. As if ISU wouldn’t like to upgrade if we ever do anything worthy of such an offer. If Loyola stays relevant, the Big East will poach them. And I suppose that’ll be a mistake too?

The conference move for Wichita was a no-brainer.

This may have been mentioned back in December, after Loyola had already won at Florida and the 'Birds had wins over South Carolina and Ole Miss, but at that time Valley teams had won 12 and lost 2 in the last 14 match-ups against SEC teams. Loyola's win last night over #13 nationally ranked Tennessee updates that tally. One of the two Valley losses was our loss at Rupp Arena two years ago.

Good stuff on the SEC, JBird. We have to get you on the NCAA selection committee.

Wichita's decision to go the the AAC will be certainly be a no brainer should the 3 - 4 members trying to get out of there are successful. In that WSU exhibited no brains making the move not considering it's no secret those teams are working on leaving. Travel for ALL of their teams are eating them alive. The Cache of that conference drastically changes if the membership changes as it very well could. It would most likely mean a one bid conference with 3x the cost.

I love it! The caa or whatever is out of the tournament. They shouldn't have gotten more than 1 team in. Nevada!!

This tourny is officially nuts. Note to the production crew though. We don't want a little boy crying onscreen for 30 seconds. I'm sure there are some sad adults in the crowd.

Looked like he was vomiting. I agree. Keep it on the players. I don’t care for the altered post season production emphasizing fans, wives, etc. Quit looking for the next One Viral Moment.

I’ve been at opposite ends of the emotional spectrum as a fan. I was in Tampa for the Ohio game. It’s interesting to watch other fans endure the agony of defeat. The response seems so out of proportion for a mere game. But I’ve been there, and it stings like hell.

I really hate Mick Cronin. That is all.

:text-+1:

Loved seeing the Bearcats go down after being so arrogant and cocky early.

Plus, it was Mick Cronin [http://www.pantagraph.com/sports/college/illinois-state/cincinnati-s-visit-to-isu-may-be-last-for-some/article_d0110eef-bed3-5a1d-b2b9-3177bb273643.html].

NOTE: funny how it was the same discussion eleven years ago (I believe Cincinnati is the last power 5 team (at the time the Big East was a power "6" conference) to visit Redbird Arena, sans post-season tournaments).
