Anyone else find it convenient that Trey, Rico, and Jamar all began posting around the same time after being kind of quiet for a bit? No? Just me? Alright.

Yeah, a number of us brought that up last season. Kinda Like Russian twitter trolls amplifying each other.

Or like when they're all offline, then all log back-in at the same time, reply at 3:05, 3:07, & 3:09, and then all log back off.

Is there anyone out there who wants to actually discuss the non conference schedule for the MVC????
I responded to your post...as I was indifferent with your comment. You’re right, the non-conference is weak for most Valley teams. MSU is prob the only one that has put themselves in the at large conversation. But they would have to do some major damage as an MVC team. I think their schedule could actually push for 2 teams, provided they lost the tournament and won most of their non-con.

After diving into the schedules last night, MSU was the only team who I felt really challenged themselves and really gave themselves an at large chance. I am really interested in seeing how they are this year especially with the WVU transfer leading the way.

There's 4-5 usernames that have the same writing style and use the exact same words. I've long suspected it's one person. Not hard to mask IP addresses.

Dingdingdadingding...DINGDING. Not hard to mask and if you're even remotely paying attention, easy to spot.

Humdonger - any insights on the mvc non conf schedules? Or you choosing to stick to the conspiracy theory chat? You could probably just start a new thread for that if you’d like to quit detailing this thread

Ok. This isn’t going to go on all season. I’m not reading this for the next six months.

I don’t care who you think is who or what. STAY ON TOPIC. If you have a concern, send me a message, email me, reach out on twitter, IG, FB whatever. I’m not hard to find. Otherwise, enough.

Good work putting this together. Very interesting.

Weird that Loyola has none

I found that odd as well. They do have Vandy, Davidson and the Cayman classic with a few P5 teams. Problem is none of them are very good. I guess that is the tricky part of scheduling. Sometimes a name on the jersey doesn't pan out when you put the schedule together.

oh boy... nice to see the birds appear on a list of games to watch. they listed our home game vs belmont on the 6th. hopefully we've made improvements since the exhibition game and closed scrimmage.

In true Redbird fashion, I think I injured my thumb scrolling all the down to see our ranking. So much scrolling...

8th best team in a state that barely can produce and NCAA Tournament team.

Thanks, Muller

team logo Illinois
Brad Underwood had a .802 win percentage in his first four seasons as a head coach. Then he took the Illinois job. The first two seasons there: .400. Now comes the most hyped Illini season in a decade-plus. This can -- should? -- be an NCAA Tournament group. No one in-state should even be within shouting distance. Three names to know, three guys who can bring Illinois back to true relevancy: Ayo Dosunmu, Giorgi Bezhanishvili, Trent Frazier. Throw in freshman Kofi Cockburn while we're at it.
The rest
2. DePaul
3. Northwestern
4. Loyola Chicago
5. UIC
6. Bradley
7. Northern Illinois
8. Illinois State
9. Southern Illinois
10. Eastern Illinois
11. Western Illinois
12. SIU Edwardsville
13. Chicago State

We just fall in the wrong state. We would clearly be the #2 team in Maine.

Seriously, that stinks man. Let’s hope can get past Loyola of Chicago. Remember when they joined the league and we debated if they were a “worthy” replacement for Creighton? Now the question, is Illinois State worthy? Good grief...
