According to the numbers, the @Drake game is more important than the Loyola game.

I hope we realize this.

We would already lose any tiebreaker with Loyola (assuming we win at home) because of NET ranking. We would also lose any tiebreaker with Drake for the same reason unless we sweep them. So yes, big game.

Surprised by this . . . he hasn't played in last 10 games, but still seems MO-ST could've used him down the stretch. I'm not finding any of the why's Church left the team, but seems he had some personal differences with Dana.

I've mentioned this before but Dana Ford was on the staff at Illinois State when Obi chose MSU. ISU was very involved with Church. Perhaps that is where the disconnect came? The relationship may have been damaged from the beginning.

Valpo in big trouble. I'll be shocked if they aren't 5-7 after their next three games.

Valpo lost that game in regulation due to free throws. In the last minute or so - one guy threw up an air ball on the front end of a 1-and-1, then the next trip, only 1 out of 2 - just one extra point - wins the game.

Pollard continues to be a terrible ref - stopped the game at one point with Valpo bringing the ball up the court - to talk to a guard from each team for about two full minutes. On a blocked shot - he wants to go to the monitor - no change in the call. He has to be the center of attention. An ego that is bigger than any arena.
