Agree Cooksey. I hope we play them again and destroy them by 20 or more. I’ll say it one more time. Kennell, Hodgson, and Bar would be hard pressed to see playing time at virtually any other school in the Valley. Darrell Brown is not the point guard I would choose to lead a team. With the same players returning except Donte Thomas next year, they will be in trouble.

I agree . I will add that my colleagues in Peoria tell me that Childs is not a guarantee to return to Peoria. He's a nice looking player. He's getting sniffs from better schools closer to home I'm told.

6 msu players ejected for coming onto the floor after a player went down.

I want to read about the MSU game. They came close...

Looking like Illinois State & Bradley destined for the 4/5 game at 2:30
I believe if missouri state beats bradley Wednesday then missouri state would have the tie breaker based off of rpi.

I'd rather play Bradley in that game but if we are healthy(ish) I am confident we would beat either.

Maybe. Missouri State will drop several spots for losing at home today. They’d have to win at UNI as well anyway even if they win Wednesday night.

I think Bradley ends up fifth.

Understandable, I agree. Missouri State imo just worries me. Ppl laugh at them but they were still picked 1st in league for a reason and beating a team 3x in a row is hard. Plus playing a short handed Siu team over loyola on Saturday is easier path to Sunday imo.

I was watching the MSU vs Drake game - this was a extremely over zealous reaction by the refs.

A Bears player was fouled going to dunk - was airborne and landed flat on his back out-of bounds - right in front of the end of the Mo State bench. It was a spontaneous reaction by teammates and a team manager to take about three steps to help up their teammate. This was all well out of bounds, in fact most of it was on the concrete past the end of the court. The ref from out at half court came flying in going nuts. Then they spent several minutes looking at the monitor - went over to the Mo State bench - anyone sitting from a certain point was told to leave - then to add icing on the cake - the one ref went back to the scorers table and signaled for two fans to be kicked out as well.

Mitch Holtus and Kyle Macy were on the broadcast team - and thought this was only a nature reaction. The ref cited - leaving the bench for a possible fight - there was no altercation whatsoever, just helping up their teammate. Just a terrible decision - clearly they had no discernment ability.

So I watched that play on ESPN3 replay. I think the Refs probably followed the rules but I don't feel like it is the spirit of the rule. There was no fight or anything that happened other than making sure the kid was OK. Even Drake players were walking over to help him.
Kinda silly.
