Huge couple games coming up for ISU. I think it is important for them to be the 3 seed in St. Louis this year. Not that it matters, because anyone can beat anyone, but I would like to avoid Loyola until Sunday. I believe ISU should win Saturday and I believe Drake will lose in Springfield, which would make next Wednesday for the 3 seed. Big weekend of games.

Speaking of middle school games, watch out for the current 6th grade classes for Morton, Peoria St. Vincent, and Illini Bluffs. All will be good. I think I’ll throw in Metamora too.

At the under 4 min timeout - Indy State was up 63-57 - only scored two free throws - both of those were one of two opportunities - went to OT tied 65 all. Barnes threw up several wild three's and Scott traveled several times - which never happens against us or does it get called.

What a melt down by PU BU!!! BU was up 60-57 - Valpo went on a huge run - after a break away slam dunk by Valpo to go up 75-60 - Wardle goes out onto the court and says something to the trailing ref - who instantly gave him a Technical - very strange timing for a "T" - Oh well - BU loses.

If Missouri State wins the next two (Drake and Bradley) and we beat Drake, I think we will be the three seed against the Gargoyles with Drake and MSU matching up in the 4/5 game. I think the Bears will have the RPI edge over Bradley in this scenario.

I agree with that. I was looking at the standings and I'd love a 3-6 match up with the Gargoyles late Friday night and then a tired Siu team on Saturday.

Agree Cooksey. I hope we play them again and destroy them by 20 or more. I’ll say it one more time. Kennell, Hodgson, and Bar would be hard pressed to see playing time at virtually any other school in the Valley. Darrell Brown is not the point guard I would choose to lead a team. With the same players returning except Donte Thomas next year, they will be in trouble.

So we need MSU to beat Drake, correct? So that we are tied with them. Have to beat them Weds. then doesn’t matter if we lose to Loyola and they beat Valpo bc we’ll be tied and should have better RPI. All that correct?
