Besides our game, really really big game in Terre Haute.
Saw on MVCfan forum a mention of DeVries having some sort of injury in last night’s game. No other details. Anyone have any updates on that? Would make an already difficult game more difficult if Tucker is not 100%.

Tucker also went scoreless after halftime in their OT loss to MSU. Wonder if it was an injury that started by slipping on a halftime banana peel and progressively got worse.

UNI and Murray game big for The middle of the pack, just where ISU red is trying to get to. Indiana State having big crowds and hopefully another great game on ESPNU big for all the valley

I miss the old “dirty” Valley schedules with three games a week. Had to help teams prep for tired legs of Arch Madness. Wish they’d have done a 22-game slate like this rather than the goofy pair of December games and not playing H-H against two opponents.

Maybe because the MVC tries to be the little big how ever many. Or, that’s the way we always have done it. Or, the MVC has terrible media negotiators, but I have seen “smaller” or “lower” mid major conferences that have their games more spread out. On a cold winters Saturday an eleven, one, three, five and seven start times would be nice. It also could start at one with last game at nine. There would be some valley fans watch lots of the games. I would probably view at least three.

We used to have some 9 PM tips in order to score a slot on the Deuce. Made for some long nights!

But now as a purveyor of mind-numbing intoxicants I’d applaud the opportunity for an extended pregame.

Drake and Indiana State are so fun to watch. I hope they can both make the dance this year. Indiana State should be almost a sure shot for an at large. Their toughest remaining games are at Missouri State and at SIU. They have a good chance to win out. So if Drake or Bradley knock them off in St. Louis I think we get 2 bids. If Indiana State wins, I have a harder time seeing it happen unfortunately, unless a 6 loss Drake team can sneak in.

Drake and Indy St was a great game and Hulman Center was rocking. That's the level we should be at. Where we used to be. And what feels so damn far away.

Born was 0 for 5 yesterday and scored 0 points for UNI. In STL last year, he was phenomenal. I would not have thought that was possible.

He was out last week with an illness. Probably related to that. He is having a down year compared to last year though.

Born also struggled with a hip flexor issue earlier this season . . . and hasn’t been the same at all this year. Still leads team in scoring, but he’s down 4.1 ppg from last year, and shooting at .330 from 3.

i cant think of a reason anyone involved (media rights owner, universities, mvc, coaches, players, fans..etc) would want same start time yet it was the same. bizarre
