Kida Devil's Advocate, but I'm guessing we win the Ohio Valley several times, at least during my "ISU Fandom" ('94-Jank/Dan Years); but you make a valid point regarding our "measuring sticks" (ad I am a big Spack guy whose "fan job"is getting pretty dicey on that end)
I have no problem with Spack. He got us to the championship game, almost won it. COVID was not kind to the football program. Sorry this probably belongs on the football forum

"Pedon has a lot going for him. He has recruited some really good free throw shooters!" I like these announcers. Finding that silver lining!

Paint scoring is good, but you can’t win when you don’t make a single basket outside the paint

Wow a 21-11 rebounding advantage. Chase and Foster can't be stopped. They will get doubled hard in the second half. Hopefully we see some cutters to the basket to take advantage of it.

Banks is averaging 1 air ball per game. However, he did make that beautiful bounce pass on the run to Chase making the layup. Can't teach soft hands for the big guy. Chase conditioning has gotten better since he started playing. Initially, I thought he was slow getting down the floor. Not so now.

Team is really playing hard. Love the inside game with Chase and Foster in the paint. Running the floor well, Chase has soft hands for a big man. I don’t think I have ever seen anything like this at any level with the 3 ball though. Not high school, college or NBA. It looks like they are all tentative, no confidence and no chance to hit. Something has to give. Keep fighting in the second half and come out with the W. Go Birds!
