What does 'not a good addition' mean to you?

C'mon man.

Without looking, can you tell us what conferences these two powerhouses play in currently?

Just think of the rivalries and the increased travel costs.

C’mon man.

Show me the post from me that suggests UMKC to the valley. Demonstrate that you can read.

C'mon man.

Also, what a time for Dan to have tanked our program. We are literally coming off our lowest point in basketball ever.

University presidents at ISU, UNI, MSU need to be making some sort of alliance. Don’t worry about the privates and MVC worry about themselves.

I think Missouri State would more likely eye the Sun Belt. A step up to FBS and better weather for baseball and softball.

So you couldn’t answer the question, so maybe it’s you who needs to show they have the ability to read.

If UTA and UMKC are added I would want ISU out of the Valley.
I would want my ISU out of the Valley too. Those programs are both trainwrecks.

Murray State is the obvious choice and having 20 conference games would be ideal. Doing nothing would be halfway acceptable too since we are still going to be at 10 with Belmont. If the MVC wants to do 13 then add the XDSU's.

I will say that 13 makes no sense unless they are expecting someone else to leave, such as Missouri State to the CUSA. Even at that I'd be perfectly happy with replacing LUC and MSU with Belmont and Murray and staying at 10.

If they do add UTA and UMKC it seems like they would be doing it for MSU. Since this would bring us to 14 schools like you said it seems like they are waiting for something to happen like MSU leaving then adding those 2 schools makes even less sense.

The only non-football school out there worth adding might be Northern Kentucky. They have a really nice arena, have been investing more money into their program, recent success, Cincinnati market, and a growing fan base.

Kansas City and Arlington just don't do it for me. Word on the street is that UTA is getting kicked out of the Sun Belt, so if the Sun Belt doesn't want them, why should we want them? Not to mention that they are no where near any current MVC schools. UMKC doesn't need an explanation; we all know how awful they would be.

I’d be fine with them just adding Murray State, but if they start adding those others, it’s time to look at the MAC and hopefully UNI and MOST come along too.
I've heard the MAC doesn't want FCS call ups plus they want an insane amount of commitment. They wanted 25 years from WKU and MTSU. Plus NIU won't want us.

so, loyola, dayton, and stl will round out the big east and gonzaga and wichita to the mountain west. looking very much how this will shake out. again, the mvc blows a chance. just like in the mid 00's. they should have done everything to keep loyola even giving them more money, exposure, and a easy path to the title much like the WCC did with Gonzaga.

I’m not sure the Big East wants to expand. Those schools seem happy and can be as slow and choosy as they want.
