Will be interesting to see how this plays out, if he sticks with us. He doesn't seem to be in the Badgers top tier, but they have lost out on a couple of their main targets already. If they come back to him, will he stick with us? Dad played for the Badgers, don't forget. I like what I read and hear about young Daugherty. Dad - Sean - was a nice player for the Badgers back in the day.

Why would you make this post? Don't you think he went over that before he committed? Are you a badger fan?

Well, I have Badger season basketball tickets, but more of a Big 10+ hoops fan than a Badger fan.

But I made that post because that's what's happening - the kid's one of the top players in Wisconsin, his Dad is a former Badger, and the Badgers have struck out on a few of their main targets and may have to cast a wider net, and kids all over back out when circumstances change. And I sure hope he's committed to ISU and hangs with us. And that he considered the idea that the Badgers might come calling late in the game but that he'd rather be with someone who's been calling since the "beginning". Pedon and company seem to be working Wisconsin pretty hard and doing well so far.

Maybe not everyone wants to play in Madison. 🤷‍♂️

Let’s celebrate the commitment before we ship him off because Greg Gard is struggling to land recruits. It doesn’t always have to be about Wiwconson.

2022 Mr. Basketball Wisconsin is on scholarship at ISU. So, that's cool.

All his home games are streamed live on YouTube. Brookfield central has played two games to date:

The forward continued to flourish as a junior, averaging a career-high 17.4 points and 7.9 rebounds and showing he’s a threat from anywhere on the court after shooting 42.8% from 3point range. Committed to Illinois State.

Bdub777…. I know current coaches don’t subscribe to that theory, but I sure do for shooters.

I watched Michael Jordan bench over 300 at the Berto Center in the 90s. Think of how good he could have been had he never lifted. Steph Curry can squat over 400. Bigger faster stronger 💪 beats smaller slower weaker every damn time.
Wait......
Who did you schmooze??

Yes, I suspect Jordan and Steph would have good no matter what they did. The shooters in the 70's when they did not lift weights were just better pure shooters. I don't think it is even close. We can agree to disagree.
