Defense gave up a good amount of big plays that half, but are getting zero help from the offense.

Good point about ndsu being better as respects to over analyzing ISU’s play....good teams make you look like you are underperforming or are playing bad.

I think they are just out-executing us in trenches, but it is not in their run game .. it is all Stick.

???disagree...ndsu has many stick keepers for gains that were by choice vs stick scrambling due to pressure to survive that subsequently resulted in gains

ISU needs to focus this half and play their game as so far they have been off balance due to penalties and big ndsu plays

Stick has just 5 carries for 43 yards, one of which he left pocket. Their RBs have 15 carries for 40 yards .. so I'd say we are stopping their primary run effort, but we are not accounting for their QB.

That is such a bs response to a classless play. 69 tried to drive the qb into the turf to hurt him. Own it, chew him out and end of story. No bs executes. An ISU player did similar thing vs Mo State as respects to a classless play.

It's always easy to over-analyze when you're down. Overall NDSU is the better team I think, BUT...14-7 is a lot different story than 21-0. We had some bad penalties and gave up some big plays but still could easily be in a one possession game right now.

They are older than us across the board - their offense versus our defense. Maturity and another year in the weight room matters. We're playing FR and So against their Jrs and Srs.

Our OLine has been struggling, apparently with the noise. Couple of false starts including one not called are a bit out of character. Need to keep running.
