The other ISU is in year two with a new coach and the change is starting to pay dividends. Not to say it has been all rainbows and unicorns, as there have a been a couple of "stub your toe" results (Kansas City, Northern Illinois, Southern Indiana) mixed in. Their best win (by NET ranking) was at Southern Illinois.

They can score, so an all too familiar sluggish first half on the offensive end will likely bury us. Courvoisier McCauley, the ever-present Cooper Neese, and Cameron Henry pace their scoring. They will go twelve deep but seem to have settled in on nine.

Given our recent run ...

Watch this be the game where something clicks, we don't turn it over 83 times, get some boards, play smart and win by 10.

I’m hearing the last practice may have been the best practice to date. A w wouldn’t surprise me. Why we play better in the 2nd half of games is puzzling. Keep turnover ms to under 12 and have hotter starts and this team can win more games expected this year. Ik it sound improbable but it’s it’s really not. The top teams in this conference are beatable. They’ve shown it.

Our boys have been up and down this season. We've had some injuries that have maybe kept the team from gelling. They've shown some flashes. Time to get "right" and pull it together.

Indiana State can be had. They've lost to NIU (4-10). They've lost to Southern Indiana (8-7). They've lost to UM-Kansas City (6-10). They've beaten Tusculum (6-5), UWGB (2-13), NDSU Bison (4-11), NAIA Trinity Christian (5-8), Miami of Ohio (6-9), Evansville (4-11), and Valpo (6-9). Not that we've had a powerhouse schedule, but looking just at InSU, they are not unbeatable.

Hoping Sandage is back at full strength, hoping Liam is back at full strength, hoping Lewis and Knight get comfortable and cut loose, hoping Kasubke and Petrakis find the range, hoping Sissoko keeps his effing hands to himself - :ROFLMAO: - hoping Poindexter keeps finding his way and becomes the leader, hoping Burford keeps himself under control.

Is that hoping for too much!!??

ISU Blue - 74
Good Guys - 76

Oh, and hoping we get a decent reffing crew.

Not picking a winner, but this will be closer than some expect. Birds fight, but will it be enough.
