Now if our Ncaa tourn quaulifier : Womens tennis can just get an actual toilet and running water, get rid of the "crappy" porta potty, out at their courts.

Really? They haven't done that yet? That's been years.

No Timmy, most still try to catch rides over to the Golf course to use the facilities..

Private schools don't have to release that data, public schools do.
yep and it would be hard to compare with the privates anyway since they do not have to fund football. Looks like Uni is the one the gets the biggest bang for their buck. Although even with uni it is a bit different as they have wrestling vs baseball.

What bathroom do the regular players (non-golf team) use that routinely play the course? It an outhouse is good enough for the regulars it should be for the team since the golf team has little fans following and likely brings in little or no revenue. Probably a lot more expensive than one thinks when you factor in plumbing, water lines, electric...etc.

i misunderstood but same concept .what is good enough for the general ISU student players should be good enough for "student" athletes that play tennis esp when the general student population is paying the freight via student fees .

Yes this works out great when we host the Valley Tournament and six teams have to use a disgusting porta potty and have to truck in water. embarrassing.

3 things:

1. The clubhouse has restrooms, in addition to porta-potties around the course.
2. The tennis courts are close to none of them.
3. Your opinion here is childish.

Ding Ding Ding a student can leave and go home, in match play a player cannot just pick up and leave in match play.

It's more terrible planning on ISU's part as to the location of the tennis courts. They really should have put them much closer to the club house, then they could upgrade the club house for the additional restrooms and maybe even food during events. But it's a pretty good distance, and building it's own separate facilities that are to be maintained seems like a wasted cost. I'm pretty sure just a bunch of dip stick kids in the neighborhood would just trash the place. It's a shame the university put it self in that position.

But congrats to all the kids and their hard work. Those kids are the ones who bleed red and in the future will represent ISU the best.

There are already 2 buildings, water and electric there. The lateral run would be short and doors have locks. This is not a major expense for a department with a $28,000,000 budget.

I'm tired of this stuff about student fees. Everyone knows about them from the get go. If you don't want to pay for athletics, go to Northeastern Illinois and enjoy your stay.

FU captain troll. I am Childish to think money can be better off spent elsewhere so that ISU and the student fees are spent wisely, IMO. We can have different opinions and agree to disagree so stop the bs insults.

I'm sorry, but there was no BS in my comment.

Is anyone going to Louisville for baseball tomorrow?

We will be in Section 212

You will have a great time. Our group went in 2010 and it was awesome.

We were going to go all weekend this year, but didn’t want to break our boycott of going to ISU events until Lyons is gone.

Great win by the birds. Was a heart stopping win today. Looks like Louisville tomorrow.
