Indiana State at Illinois State

In what may be a surprise to some, Indiana State and Illinois State are currently tied for first place in the Missouri Valley at 9-3. With RPIs of 34 and 32, respectively, both teams could be deserving of at-large bids. However, with Dallas Baptist a few spots ahead in the RPI (28), it is tough to find a path where both Indiana State and Illinois State make a Regional. This series could be the tiebreaker come Selection Monday.

Have to give credit to this new head coach... ISU was consistently at the top of the MVC before Bo took over. Looks like Holm has gotten them back in the thick of things... Probably because he has a legitimate coaching staff instead of a bunch of yes men in the dugout.
