Just my 2cents.
After the SIU game the thing that stands out for me is that it doesn’t feel like they are coming together as a team. There isn’t a floor leader like PLee was last year for example. I thought by now Key and PF would have stepped up as floor leaders but all I have seen from them is taking the blame in interviews after the game(does MY do interviews after games?)The chemistry just isn’t there and MY is starting to look like he is part of the problem. He still can’t get out of the “I am the team, if I’m having a bad game everyone is having a bad game” mentallity. Looks like the only person MY has a true connection to on the court is PF. Going into timeouts he is about the only person he will talk to or high five after a big play. EC was having his best game yesterday and it seemed like MY was always going at him, the most notable to me was after a play EC tried to calm him down but instead he just went off, this was before he was on him about where to pass the ball to. All the others just look lost, or afraid, to get along as a team and don’t know who to turn to for help.
