Yes. He was on the radio broadcast during halftime and telling how, after the 1989-90 team returned from the Far West Classic, the team was dropped off at Redbird Arena when Bob Bender and his coaching staff proceeded to walk out of the locker room and not return (locking them in overnight).

Jarrod went on to say that it got verbally intense among the players, but afterward they seemed to play more as a team.

Doubtful anyone could get away with that today.

Side note: twelve of the fifteen players on that roster were from Illinois (one each from Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota).

ASU moves to 7-13. Horne was 3-13 and scored 11 of asu's 87 points.

4-25 in asu's past 2 games.

asu's average basketball attendance in 2022 is 2430. Who wouldn't want to shoot 4 for 25 in such a great environment.
Where are you getting that number from? It looks like they are averaging over 7,000. Looking at their website, I am pretty sure you are talking about their women's basketball team.

How is this even a discussion? DJ did what DJ had to do for DJ. It was the right move. He's playing on a bigger stage against better teams on a nightly basis. Would I love to still have him in Redbird red? Yes, but he chose to move on.

I believe we are now over 40% of all D1 bball players use the transfer portal. Adunk, what is the percentage now? Heck, there are some that use it multiple times.

The number of kids entering the portal over the past 5 years has doubled. Not quite to 40%. Last year may have been an anomaly with the players being able to xfer without the penalty of sitting out but we'll see if it resorts back to that 21% median.
2018: 883 transfers. 18.9%
2019: 987 transfers 21.2%
2020: 1013 transfers 21.7%
2021: 1729 transfers 37.1%
2022: 138 transfers 0.29%

* Note, these were calculated using 4,654 total D1 scholarships available (not considering extra covid scholarships). 13 per D1 teams. There were probably less as a handful of D1 teams have been added since 2018. So, they should be close. My degree is in mass media, so do with that info what you will.

The origination of this debate is, what’s the better stage for showcasing your talent in an attempt to get more recognition…the PAC 12 or the MVC.
To me, it’s obviously the PAC 12. For some reason, some seem to think the MVC; which seems myopic (at best)

2022 must be 29%, not .29% - right?
