Besides Foster and likely Kinziger, are anyone else’s minutes guaranteed? Someone transfers in, a new recruit stands out, or someone makes remarkable improvement, and they’re going to play.

It’s tough to financially buyout coach after coach, but it’s also tough to see an exodus of hundreds of STHs, especially if that averages $1k-2k per in donations and tickets per. Also, when MBB struggles, it impacts donations and budgets for all other sports too. If we don’t pick things up next year, we’re going to face some difficult decisions.

I go back to what people are saying, I think it’s more an open willingness to recruit over guys on the roster. If Pedon can get a more productive player, he’s going to look at the need for wins and grab that person. That doesn’t mean cutting most players but it could mean fewer minutes for some guys next season. The thing about it though, that is fully within the players’ control to earn their PT.
