EU only scored 27 points in the first half. The problem is not the defense. The problem is 0-13 from beyond the arc. Defense wasn’t a problem in the last two games, why, because we made shots. I’ll take giving up only 27 points at halftime every game. I don’t care how well you play defense, you ain’t getting a W if you can’t make a damn shot outside the paint.

Evansville is bad. It's not the defense.

It is disappointing that we seem to make progress - a road win, a solid game against Belmont - and we throw this type of game up there. I have to question our offensive strategy to just keep chucking. Maybe we hit 3-4 in a row and get up to shooting 15%, but it seems we are doing much better going inside. Then t least a chance of getting fouled.

We can’t continue to lose to teams like Valpo and Evansville and continue to flirt with a bottom 4-5 finish in the conference. Three point shooting is unbelievably bad, especially when a concentration of the misses, , all season long. Is with our older players.

How will this team be better just by Lewis and Schmidt being gone? Schmidt doesn’t even play. How is he currently hurting the team? Are we going to allow sissoko back to ride the bench?

Yep but you've got to look deeper. WHY aren't we hitting shots?? 222....chime in.

When they told them “keep shooting it” they actually believed em. How about go with what’s working. Don’t know what happened to Luke, Mal, Burford shots- maybe the same thing that’s affected FT shooting much of season, - lack of emphasis, practice, coaching( same staff+ as last year) All weredecent from 3 when they are squared up and unchallenged - now they can’t make those and we don’t manufacture a lot of those shots anyway.
