Some person also posts that he got $80k and a Ford Raptor as an NIL deal
Sounds high for where we're at in the whole scheme of things. But I don't have the particular info on how Empower The Nest is being distributed from an equitable standpoint. Still shaking my head that this is formally a buyer's business, now. So be it. Go beat your chest on camera and get yours, get yours, get yours!!

Does he remind you any of a taller Colton Sandage?
Honestly, no. Sandage was more of a spot up shooter. This kid scores off the bounce and does a nice job of creating his own shot.

Regarding the rumored NIL deal of 80k and a car, we will probably never know what is actually true but 80k seems high. If he's getting that much, the pressure on him to come in and contribute immediately is through the roof for me. The car thing doesn't bother me much because of the established relationship with Heller and O'Brien. Lease the car to the kid for 10 months or whatever make them pay for their own gas and insurance and it's a pretty low risk, high reward offer if the kid is interested. Most of the team is local-ish so, taking it home a few times a year wouldn't put too many miles on it.

I've had conversations with some other Redbird fans who think he'll be a 2nd/3rd option, at best. That's a lot of dough on the table to be the third banana.

Also, consider this...what if Cade comes in and is unexpectedly ready from D1, like a lot of us thought Johnny was? Then you've got 80k collecting dust on the bench. Boden would obviously still get minutes, but it's an interesting scenario.

The car lease is a more likely scenario than just handing him the keys. That said, A free 89 Ford Broncos has previously been established as the going local auto rate

Hold on now. 1989 Bronco I or 1989 Bronco II? The difference maker could be in there somewhere.

If you read the transfer portal thread and go to page 12 they talk about Boden. A few are surprised he chose ISU over a few other schools and they don't see the difference in a middling mid major and the Summit League. Some person also posts that he got $80k and a Ford Raptor as an NIL deal 🤷‍♂️.Best is not knowing the difference in Bloomington-Normal and thinking Normal was connected to Peoria.
80K? Hmm. Seems a little off, but I'm sure the original poster knows what he/she is talking about.

This signing is not going to change the trajectory of this program. I’m ’unimpressed’ at best. My question; how can we consistently get our ass kicked by a team from a small private school in pee-oria, Il and on Valparaiso, Indiana? How? Do they have that much more support than us? Show me the results and maybe I’ll show you the money. I only participate now because, well-what else is there to do in Central Illinois in Winter.

Is Conner Dillon a better signing than Boden Skunberg?

Dillon is a good player. Played high school ball in a good conference and his D2 record speaks for itself. I predict that he will start and contribute for Bradley.
So do you think that Skunberg would have had that same success at a DIi school?

I’m sure that Skunberg would have been successful at the D2 level. He has good stats for his D1 time at North Dakota State and has size at 6’5”.

But I’ve seen Dillon play from 3rd grade through high school. The kid is good. Excellent range on the 3 point shot and for 6’2” a surprisingly good jumper. In pickup games at a summer camp at Dunlap high school he was unstoppable. I think a very good pick up for Bradley.

I have not seen Skunberg play so i can’t really make a comparison.

Was really hoping that Scipio would have some input, since he is not impressed with the Skunberg signing, but is impressed with the Dillon signing.
