Just get the f*****g win and quit playing like a bunch of sad sacked pu**ies.

Let's say they don't play like sad sacked puppies, but play well . . . and still lose. You okay with that?

Not really. Wins are wins, get them however you can. Losing sucks in any capacity, and can sting even worse when you play well.

At the same time where we sit right now, I'm just hoping to see something click right with this group. There's a hump they just haven't gotten over yet for whatever reason. Do that, and the wins will come.

Just want to make sure the two aren't necessarily mutually restrictive. Our fans tend to under-appreciate the talent on and quality of other teams. For example, I believe UGA is better than our fans give them credit for and will win some games they're not expected to. They have a couple guys who will give other teams fits, and those two played out of their minds against us. And Crean is a good coach who made a mistake in going to IU.

Additionally, I find it ironic that our fans complain about the quality of our players and coach(es), but then just assume we're better than the teams we play. Many also seem to assume the pre-season "rankings" are of great value, rather than just best guesses and that teams may be better (or worse) than predicted.

Yep, correct. Of course I'd always rather win ugly than lose pretty. But for this team right now, it's been ALL ugly through five games. A full, 40-minute effort where they finally play loose and confident is just what this team needs, like a big collective exhale. Do that and the wins will take care of themselves.

This is the key. I felt like WT played very loose in the 2nd half of the Georgia game and his production went up. One example, but it's one I noticed. I'd like for the whole team to play this way, and I'd also like for Copeland to stop taking terrible shots that break up offensive momentum. He's doing well distributing the ball, and he needs to really focus on that for now. The shots will come when defenses try to adjust to everyone else.

Illinois State +2

Over / under 145

I see ILST +3.5
O/U 144

I always post the opening line when it comes out. Obviously it fluctuates with the betting public.

Keys

1. Limit fouls on defense
2. Defensive team rebounding
3. Shoot in rhythm (whether a 3 or not)
4. KE takes another step towards his 2017 self

Duhon with the scout today. Believe this is the first one he has done on the year.

Those 2 from Georgia "played out of their mind" because we didn't play any defense on them.

I still have yet to see our team commit and buy in on defense for a 40 min period.

Until we do that, expect the same results you're seeing. Ugly wins and bad losses.

So they just mentioned that YARB has done everything but drive the bus....I thought a bus was involved in the last local issue.
