Actually, you might be the troll. There are about 700 fewer donors these days. You should want them back.jamminjamarsmiley: Who do you think you are? What have you accomp;ished? Do you donate to the program? Are you a season ticket holder? Have you played or volunteered for ISU Athletics. You and CaliBird are just trolls unless you can provide otherwise proof.
His questions don’t deserve a response however i have donated to ISU, I have had season tickets previously and I have worked and volunteered for the university at times. And yet you did not answer his questions....
Does that mean I should post, too?Just thought I'd post in this thread because I fell like me posting is obligatory.
Just when I thought you were an individual who might have a leg to stand on. You have no real investment in the program. You do not have season tickets, if you live out of town, I can understand. However, you do not donate, that is where you lose me. (not that you give a rats rump on what I think, and you shouldn't). Peoples situations are different in how they can support something they claim they are passionate about. Using the line, if you get a new coach, I may change my mind and give the university money. I have a hard time supporting that thought process. Either in or out. Real question, why do you support ISU? Me, I support ISU because it has been my life, my passion, my church. Wonderful memories as far back as I can remember, even before I was born(60+ years ago). His questions don’t deserve a response however i have donated to ISU, I have had season tickets previously and I have worked and volunteered for the university at times.
Not that any of that matters, but I can tell you I have not had season tickets for many years and have not donated for many years. I am not alone. I have communicated with Kyle that I look forward to his new head coach hire and that may change.
I'd like to add, a lot of what is said is to position themselves. For example, if Reeves was to coach-bash, that would 100% affect the number of opportunities for him should he consider the portal.I don’t know, but I can assure you players and coaches get trained on how to speak to the media. If you think comments made in a press conference are 100% genuine and always the truth, that is quite naive.
That seems awfully telling to me.Actually after reading the quotes again, it appears that the Tone and Abdou are supportive of their relationship with him, but they refrain from commenting on his coaching ability.
If you could just make the type a little larger and a little bolder, it would help.jamminjamarsmiley: Who do you think you are? What have you accomp;ished? Do you donate to the program? Yeah, so anyone who is currently is not paying isu their hard earned money for an underachieving product should not be considered a real fan? I am willing to bet a large % of this fan forum doesn’t donate to the university, so you didn’t just insult me, but many orhers here. I believe in giving my hard earned cash where it’s earned and deserved. Unfortunately isu basketball has not met that standard for me, therefore I chose to pull my money. I don’t know how else to voice my displeasure.Just when I thought you were an individual who might have a leg to stand on. You have no real investment in the program. That's exactly why we should be glad you aren't the AD. You will never get donors back with that thought process. Don't blame the poster for the lack of donors. Blame Lyons and your buddy. But, keep on, keeping on.Just when I thought you were an individual who might have a leg to stand on. You have no real investment in the program. Not a real fan, that is exactly what I said. How does your current support help ISU? I understand you may like ISU a little bit, when they are winning, when they are not. Well, look at our chat right now. You have your opinion. I respect it is your hard earned money and I appreciate your financial choices. Just bugs the crap out of me all the pissing and moaning all the time.Yeah, so anyone who is currently is not paying isu their hard earned money for an underachieving product should not be considered a real fan? And I support ISU because since I can remember, I attended Redbird basketball games with family and friends. It is in my blood. Sorry if I disappoint you
You should actually call Kyle up and ask him for a list of donors that have left ISU BASKETBALL over the last 4-5 years. I had that discussion with him a week ago- it's a lot. You can feel smarter than the many that left- but I know he wants them back. Not a real fan, that is exactly what I said. How does your current support help ISU? I seldom comment on here, but ,I had a stupid moment where I had decided I had enough of the questioning of other peoples loyalty choices, example: "I will bow down to the almighty Birgs, the only person on the board to go ALL the way down on the sinking ship with muller. Impressive accomplishment. Most had jumped off during the season, but not you!"
I'm not real sorry I insulted you, I'm pretty sure you like to point out problems, usually not part of the solution. Just a guess. Try to have a good day. If my comments are the worst thing that happens to you today, that's not so bad, things could be worse
That is great that Kyle took time out of his busy schedule to share that information with you. Did he share that list of individuals with you or just say, "it's a lot"?. I'm feeling way dumb the more I carry on with this discussion. I know we all can't agree on everything, I'm tired of all the negativity. What sucks, I'm not usually a negative individual, but look at me now. I disappoint myself. You should actually call Kyle up and ask him for a list of donors that have left ISU BASKETBALL over the last 4-5 years. I had that discussion with him a week ago- it's a lot. I'm just saying 2000 donors is better than 500. Those numbers are hypothetical too. That is great that Kyle took time out of his busy schedule to share that information with you. I’ve pointed out solutions for isu basketball for the last couple years. Kyle has finally acted. I am thankful for that, thus why im considering donating. Not a real fan, that is exactly what I said.
