I like calling it at the line but in this case I'm not in any hurry to get the snap off. If I'm ahead or even I'm going to milk the clock and shorten the game. I'm going to give my defense time on the sideline. If I'm behind I'm going to speed things up.
But also this. I can't spend much time on that in practice. I'm going to get whoever is taking the snaps as many reps as I can give them. That out weighs everything else.

Long time reader. Long time ago poster.
Timmy brought me out. 55 years ago played single wing. Never thought
I'd see diagrammed single wing plays again.
A team can win with just running plays. You need good blocking and a goal
of 4 yards at a time. Make mistakes and get behind, your goose is cooked.
It's ball control and you slug it out in the trenches.

Welcome to the posting side. I wish more here were exposed to the single wing. It's a great offense. The last year I ran it I added an RPO. Coaches hated me.
