18% from 3. AND 21 turnovers against a terrible team. You have to live with how you shoot BUT taking care of the ball is mental. No excuse for 21 turnovers

Officiating hurt early, but like a couple have said actually got a couple calls at the end. You survived the calls in the first half and then were bad the second half. Another key missed free throw. Dan is consistent, his team will frustrate the hell out of you

Stop it. Nobody has been pulling for Muller on this board.

This game was a gut-punch.
Good teams that are well coached win these games (Loyola). We don’t. It’s a gut punch? It’s a humiliation! The latest in a ten year string of humiliations. The sooner we (and the University) admit Muller has to go the better. A quality program would have fired him this afternoon.

Awful, terrible loss at last place, 4-win Evansville. Anyone still want Dan?
Here's another take. If Dan had the same record over a 10-year span at another equivalent non-MVC, mid-major team, and we had an opening, would you want him? What a shit show. Let's keep him for another year and see how he does against form OVC top teams like Belmont and Murray St and against Yalich at UIC. Close the door. Enough is enough. Damn.

Evansville might move up to 300 in the RPI.

Now that we are all down after today the team will probably bounce back and beat Drake by 10 on Wednesday and give us all hope again. It's just how this team is it seems.

If Dan isn’t gone after this season something is wrong. This is insane!

He should be gone before dinner tonight but it’s highly unlikely. Brennan needs to get on the phone and shake some trees. If there is a will, there will be a way.

Ten years is long enough. We are losing to teams in the 300s. Embarrassing and pathetic.

Should have won that game, simply put the wrong players on the floor in the wrong roles. When they did recognize the need to play Reeves at the point(because they went like -8 run with him in corner) down the stretch to generate off the dribble, what does Freeman bring except no rebounds and defensive liability?? After Chatman came out the Birds went to 4 guards and Lewis -one time down the Court they shot over Freeman in the corner for 3, and then Freeman turned it over standing in the corner under pressure(not his fault- he shouldn’t be in those positions-he’s a 5-9 point guard), and finally EU got a second chance basket because the Birds couldnt get a rebound with Lewis playing D out front and no one but guards left to rebound.

The Birds dont need scorers, they score more than anybody in the Valley( and it’s not because they out rebound opponents), the problem is that the Birds give up more points than anybody. This is just like 2 years ago when they rarely played Fisher/ Idowu at the same time, even though the +/- showed they were most effective when both were on the floor. What we know is that the Reeves-1, Strong-2, McChesney-3, Lewis-4, Chatman/Schmitt-5 lineup played #8 team in country even and brought the team back +23 points in the 2nd half against BU, clearly the 2 best games of the season for ISU, wouldnt you say to your self- holy shit, what were we missing? instead they refuse to put that lineup back on the floor like they don’t want to give it an opportunity to succeed-why in the world wouldn’t you try it- McChesney played total of 6 minutes today, somebody please help me understand??

Frustrating. Depressing. Whatever emotion hits you. You just watch and wonder what happened. Game to game, the consistency is horrible. I wish more of my pals on this board would not get so high and low with each game. They showed pretty good against Wisconsin and first MSU game, but you know, the Jackson St. game and today always come out at one point or another.

Strong was not on today for sure, but even if he'd stopped tossing up threes after 3 or 4 misses, we'd still have been something like 3-12 or 13. Still bad.

I keep waiting to come out of a time out and "run the offense", but in the bad games they just seem to go back to that "pass it around the arc til someone gets itchy" offense. Hardly even works.

Emon is my least favorite player. He's trying too damn hard to do something.

Schmitt is very frustrating - he looks the part, seems to have good instincts, but just can't seem to "take it to the rack" with authority. Played 16 minutes and got one shot. We had 33 misses, you'd think he could get handful of put-backs at least.

We had 22 made baskets and 21 TO's. BUT EU had 19 made baskets and 20 TO's. So a sloppy game and we should have won.

Refs were awful, but I agree for the most part awful both ways. But the way it started prolly hurt us more, put us behind the 8 ball at the get go.

I don’t know if anyone has posted this but we had 20 fouls called against us. They had 12. Sounds fair to me. Sarcasm.

Careful. That kind of talk, along with wanting better, will have the usual group questioning your Redbird loyalty.

So are our players younger than other college b-ball players? I see other coaches getting their players to listen. Where is the disconnect?
